Small group training is a series of workout sessions lasting no more than one hour that a limited number of people participate in. Workouts are led by Tulane Campus Recreation's certified personal trainers who provide instruction and technique correction.
The main advantages of small group training over traditional one-on-one personal training are the increased motivation that comes from working out with others. Small group training is also a great way to try out a new workout routine or class before committing to it long-term.
Each training group runs March 7-30, 2023, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Join us in this 45-minute circuit training class to discover how to train with special equipment such as Kettlebells, Sandbags, TRX, Boxing bags, and more! This class will include an opportunity for you to work with our personal training staff to learn safe and effective ways to maximize the FUN in your functional fitness training workout.

TRX which stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise, is revolutionary workout method that uses your body weight and gravity as resistance to build strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, core and joint stability. Using TRX Suspension Trainers will be primarily used in the class, along with other functional fitness exercises. Expand your knowledge of training equipment and bodyweight training exercises, with the help of our quick TRX training class. Learn exercises of beginning to advanced levels of TRX training in this 45-minute circuit workout class. Participants will learn how to safely and correctly learn popular exercises from our personal training staff to help them develop a routine of TRW workouts.

Look to maximize your high-intensity workouts with this quick boxing training class. Add the fundamentals of heavy bag boxing into your workout routine with this 45-minute circuit workout class.
