Spring Break Adjusted Hours (March 21-29, 2026)

The Reily Center will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting Saturday, March 21, through Sunday, March 29.

The natatorium will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends during this time. The social pool hours will remain the same (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

There will also be no group exercise classes starting Monday, March 23, through Sunday, March 29.

TU Fit will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, March 23, through Friday, March 27. TU Fit's weekend hours will remain in effect (Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

Tulane Campus Recreation’s aquatic facilities include an Olympic-sized indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor Social Pool. Whether you’re interested in relaxing by the Social Pool, laying out on the sun deck, or swimming laps for exercise, our aquatics facilities offer the space and flexibility for various activities.

Become a Lifeguard with

Lifeguard Certification Courses

Lifeguard certification courses are currently available at the Reily Center for Spring 2026!

Gain the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies through a combination of online learning and in-person skills sessions. Upon successful completion, participants will earn an American Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED, which is valid for two years.

Participants who earn their certification with Tulane Campus Recreation will also have guaranteed employment at the Reily Center and a free gym membership.

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are structured sessions conducted by our trained instructors to teach individuals how to swim or improve their swimming skills. Participants learn essential techniques like body positioning, breathing, and different swimming strokes while also receiving water safety education. These lessons cater to people of all ages and skill levels, promoting water confidence, physical fitness, and overall well-being, and offer a supportive environment for individuals to enhance their swimming proficiency and enjoy the water safely.

Private swim lessons are now available for Spring 2026!

Private swim lessons are available for swimmers of all ages and skill levels and can be scheduled according to your availability. Please allow up to two weeks for lessons to be scheduled. Packages include four 30-minute sessions.

(Note: Sign up for the waitlist* to be paired and scheduled with an instructor. *If the lesson is marked "Full," you can still sign up for the waitlist and email our Aquatics team to confirm.)

Non-members will need to create an account before registering.

Register for Private Swim Lessons

Partner swim lessons are now available for Spring 2026!

Partner swim lessons are available for two participants who are aged 3 and older. Participants must have a partner who is of a similar age. The lessons can be scheduled according to your availability. Please allow up to two weeks for lessons to be scheduled. Packages include four 30-minute sessions.

Register for Partner Swim Lessons

Children's group lessons are now available for Spring 2026!

Participants must be age 3 or older. Participants should be registered at least 24 hours before the first class. To register, log in to your member account or create a new account. From there, select Activities, then filter by Aquatics or scroll until you see Group Swim Lessons. Select the appropriate level for your child based on each description.
