March 12-15 Program Cancellations updated 03/09/26 4:32 p.m.

To accommodate campus needs during Book Fest, the following scheduled Campus Recreation programming will be cancelled:

Intramural Sports (IM) games on Thursday, March 12, will be rescheduled to another date. For further updates, please check our IMLeagues portal as Book Fest approaches.

The evening Faculty/Staff Small Group Training class will be cancelled on Thursday, March 12.

All EHIP classes on Friday, March 13, will be cancelled.

All group exercise classes will be cancelled starting Thursday, March 12, after 3 p.m., through Sunday, March 15.

Melanie is a current undergraduate student pursuing a BS in Exercise Science and Anthropology. She is certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). She has experience training high school athletes in both individual and group settings. Outside of the gym, Melanie is passionate about her education in the fitness sphere, exploring and enjoying New Orleans, as well as getting involved in the Tulane community. Her goal is to provide clients with innovative and fun approaches to training and make the gym a comfortable, safe space to prioritize health, wellness, and strength, especially for women.
