Martin Luther King Jr. Day Adjusted Hours (January 19, 2026)

The Reily Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and TU Fit will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 20, with our spring hours of operation.

Natatorium Swim Meet Adjusted Hours (January 16-17, 2026)

The natatorium will have adjusted hours Friday, January 16, through Saturday, January 17, due to the home swim meet. The pool will close early at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, and remain closed on Saturday, Jan. 17.

We will reopen the natatorium on Sunday, January 18, at 8 a.m. with our regular pool hours. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to see you at the pool again soon. Thank you for understanding, and Roll Wave!

Hours & Facilities 

Facilities

The Department of Campus Recreation operates two facilities. The Reily Student Recreation Center is located on the university’s Uptown campus, and the TU Fitness Center is located downtown in the redeveloped Bertie M. and John W. Deming Pavilion.

Reily Student Recreation Center

The Reily Student Recreation Center is 156,000 square feet of recreation space including outdoor tennis courts and a synthetic turf field. Our outdoor recreation spaces are also utilized for intramural and club sports.

Tulane Fitness Center 

The Tulane Fitness Center (TU Fit) is 12,000 square feet and includes a functional training area including turf and functional bridge, free weights, cardio machines, and selectorized strength equipment. TU Fit membership is limited to enrolled students and current employees of Tulane University.

Adjusted Hours and Closures

Hours of operation may fluctuate with university holidays, home football games, Saints football games, maintenance projects, etc. Tulane Campus Recreation also periodically hosts tournaments and special events that will impact availability. Spaces are reservable for varsity athletics, club, and intramural sports.
