Barre blends elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and functional training and combines large, energizing movements with small, precise pulses to create a low-impact, high-intensity workout.
This class is a no-impact, high intensity, and full body workout. Principles of ballet and Pilates are used to sculpt every major muscle group quickly and efficiently. Foundations of yoga take the place of a ballet barre to further lengthen and strengthen the body.

This class combines both strength and cardiovascular training to give participants a challenging, but rewarding, full-body workout. It incorporates functional resistance training and bodyweight exercises in a high intensity interval training (HIIT) format. Class will be held on Brown Field. In case of rain or inclement weather, class will be held in Lakeside.
This quick and convenient class gets the heart going with high intensity bursts followed by a period of active recovery. Finish off the workout by honing in on the core, targeting the abdominal muscles to help with balance and stabilization.
Cardio Dance Party is an aerobics class designed to make you sweat while dancing to hits on the radio. This class explores many styles of dance, rhythms, and music, making sure people get a well-rounded and fun experience. Class is meant for all fitness levels!
A challenging 30-minute workout that will work every angle of your core. This class goes above and beyond sit-ups and crunches to define and sculpt the abdominals and obliques. Go at your own pace with opportunities to amp up exercise, allowing for all skill levels to take part.

Tulane Campus Recreation partners with accredited certificate programs to bring workshops and trainings right to the Reily Student Recreation Center. All members of the Tulane community are invited to participate. Even our undergraduate students are able to get certified and teach at Reily!
Tulane Campus Recreation is offering partial scholarships to students for the April 23-24th NETA Group Exercise and Personal Training workshops! This opportunity is for applicants looking to become certified and will commit to teaching or training with Tulane Campus Recreation for at least two semesters.
