Barataria Preserve Hiking Day Trip

Come explore Barataria Preserve with us! Located just 35 minutes south of New Orleans, this natural area is located within Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. Hike on boardwalks through the wetlands and learn about southern Louisiana’s wildlife and ecosystems, then enjoy a picnic lunch before heading back to campus.
