Participants will learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a brief introduction to what it takes to become a certified diver. All scuba gear is provided.
Session A: January 29 @ 6:30pm
Participants will learn the fundamentals of diving, including dive equipment and technique. Participants will also earn a PADI Open Water Diving Certification that is recognized worldwide. Participants must be able to continuously swim 200 yards using any stroke as well as 10 minutes of survival float or treading water prior to the course. Registration fee includes all course materials and scuba equipment for class. Participants should anticipate additional fees for personal dive gear (mask, snorkel, fins & booties) and the weekend open-water dive certification trip. The approximate additional costs are outlined below.
Participants must be 18 or older.
Registration must be completed before the first day of class.
